Teruko is based entirely on the work of Teruko Nakamura who studied fashion in Tokyo, Japan and traveled to Europe and throughout the U.S. before deciding to settle in Canada.

Starting her own business in 1987, Teruko has always focused on elegant, timeless yet contemporary designs for any woman and every woman (as well as a few men in between!).

With several years experience, Teruko takes great pride in being able to produce custom classic pieces that not only fit you but is also designed to suit you. With good care, Teruko's work will last for years, both in wear and style!

Choosing mostly to create dynamic daytime pieces or simple evening pieces, her past work has also included a wide range from wedding dresses to theatrical dance costumes and even bathing suits.
